What a cozy place! Honestly one of the best cafes to get a sandwich for under $10! Coffee is delicious and they offer many flavors. Local art & jewelry sold here too.

4.13.25 my 1st time visiting here after going to church at St Gabes. Ample parking on the street and the parking lot. The vibe indoors is cozy, comfy, and artsy. There were families visiting, young adults with laptops, couples, all ages. Service was superb, fast, friendly, and helpful. My egg, bacon, cheese sandwich on everything bagel with the honey, was Devine. Definitely 2 thumbs up. The dark roast coffee had good flavor but I would have preferred it hotter (temp). Overall, awesome experience and I'll be back again.

Visiting family from out of town and they took me to this lovely coffee shop. The first thing I noticed is how friendly and kind everyone, including the owner, is! I got an iced coconut latte and cinnamon raisin bagel - 10/10!! If you like your lattes a little less sweet just ask for 1/2 sweet. Highly recommend this gem of a coffee shop!

The Bean 226 is definitely a five star establishment. I haven’t been able to find really good coffee in the area until this morning! my hotel recommended “The Bean 226” I called before I got there, and I was greeted warmly. I was asked how I generally liked my coffee, If I wanted more of the coffee, taste, or less. They really cared And wanted me to like what I was buying from their establishment. My coffee was ready when I got there and I was greeted by my name. I ended up with a large hot coffee and because of the season she added snickerdoodle and cinnamon. It was absolutely amazing and I feel awake and ready for my day. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop for the atmosphere the amazing employees and the terrific coffee!!!!!!

A great neighborhood gathering spot with wonderful, creative coffee drinks. Less expensive yet better than Starbucks. Food is delicious and staff is attentive and unlike many other places, the folks there remember your drink of choice and your name. How nice is that?

Such a cute coffee shop! Stopped here briefly as a stop on our day trip to CT and absolutely loved the place. My partner got “The Fluffy” and I got a caramel latte. Atmosphere was amazing and there was a cute seating area as well as enough room to move around and place your order at the order counter. Counter and high chairs in the front window to watch cars go by as well as picnic tables in the front outside. Can’t wait to return and try their food!

Sweet Sunday spot for tea and a good book! The line was to the door but moved efficiently. Good selection of drinks and treats but opted for a simple cup of tea to accompany a good book outside.

The vibe was friendly and warm. The wait was short - even still - 2 different employees acknowledged me and said they'd be right with me. The owner was extremely helpful and kind, giving me suggestions on what they offered because of my dietary restrictions. She took time for me, made both drink and food suggestions, and *never* made me feel rushed! Even though it was busy, all of the staff were pleasant, friendly and attentive the entire time. On top of the phenomenal service, the coffee and food I ordered tasted delicious! Organic coffee and fresh greens in my tossed salad with chicken. Truly a special place that I will certainly be visiting again.

Went up to visit some friends who are locals to The Bean and had a this wonderful veggie sandwich is some delicious spicy sauce on it. Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, excellent peppermint coffee, and all during snowmageddon. Definitely going to be one of my stops anytime I'm in vising friends
